Video Captioning Services
For students who have a documented profound hearing loss or deafness, the Text Conversion Office will work with instructors to identify captioned videos or have the video captioned in the event that it is not already captioned. In the event that the original video material is not available in an appropriate format for captioning, the Text Conversion Office can provide the student with a written transcript of the video/DVD. Web videos can also be captioned.
For Students:- Immediately after registering for classes, students will need to submit to the Text Conversion Office their current schedule.
- The Text Conversion Office will contact all of the student's instructors in order to determine whether videos will be used during the semester.
- If there are videos referenced on the student's syllabus, it is requested that the student submit a copy of the syllabus to the Text Conversion Office.
