Orientation to Campus Locations

DRES staff can assist students with disabilities in identifying travel routes and building locations, as well as the location of ramps and elevators.

DRES works closely with the Division of Operations and Maintenance to coordinate scheduled elevator maintenance and outages, snow removal, and curb cut or ramp repair.

In winter, DRES targets high traffic areas for students with disabilities to assure that those areas are given a high priority for snow removal.

Notices regarding scheduled elevator maintenance and/or malfunctioning elevators are posted on DRES buses, at Beckwith Hall, and throughout DRES.

Students with vision impairments who would like to be informed of such disruptions via e-mail may request this service through the DRES Office of Sensory and Testing Accommodations.
